With over thirty years of active involvement in real estate investment, strategy, and operation, Dr. Peter Linneman leads as Founder and CEO of American Land Fund Management, KL Realty, and Linneman Associates. He is the author of Real Estate Finance and Investments: Risks and Opportunities, the quarterly publication, The Linneman Letter, and more than 100 scholarly publications.
Dr. Linneman previously served as senior managing director of Equity International Properties, vice chairman of Amerimar Realty, and chairman of the board of Rockefeller Center Properties. He currently serves on the board of directors and acts as an advisor for a number of national and international companies.
He is the Emeritus Albert Sussman Professor of Real Estate, Finance, and Public Policy at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, having served 32 years as a professor at the university, and was co-editor of The Wharton Real Estate Review.
Dr. Linneman holds both masters and doctorate degrees in economics from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree from Ashland University.
Kelley Brasfield joined American Land Fund Management in 2006 as a senior vice president responsible for overseeing asset management and reporting.
Focusing on economic forecasting and research, Kelley began her career working for Dr. Peter Linneman at Linneman Associates. Prior to joining American Land Fund Management, Kelley was an associate director at MetLife in the Real Estate Investments Group, and a portfolio manager for the commercial mortgage holdings of MetLife Bank and other MetLife affiliate companies.
Kelley has a background in real estate development from her time at Roseland Property Company and SK Affiliates, underwriting and financing numerous multifamily and office properties. She also worked for AIG in the real estate strategy group and had involvement in the disposition of a $22 million leasehold asset.
After earning a BA in English from Miami University, Kelley completed the MBA program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Christine Kwak has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry with expertise ranging from acquisitions and dispositions to debt originations of more than $4 billion. In her current role, Christine serves as senior asset advisor at American Land Fund Management, responsible for asset management and capital transactions activities. She is also co-founder and president of KL Realty, a private real estate investment firm launched in 2010 in partnership with Dr. Linneman, and founder of Aris Real Estate Ventures, a west coast based investment firm.
Prior to joining American Land Fund Management and co-founding KL Realty, Christine was a managing director at Shorenstein Properties in San Francisco, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing capital transactions in the Western United States. Before that, she was a vice president in the Investment Banking Group at Goldman Sachs in New York, and a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young/Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Practice.
A graduate from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Architecture, Christine went on to earn her MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves as a full member of the Urban Land Institute, and has served as a board member of the San Francisco chapter of NAIOP, as well as an advisory member of the California Alumni Association Finance Committee at UC Berkeley.
Ed Rosenthol has served as the chief financial officer of American Land Fund Management since 2005 and is responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting financial performance of all company activity and for its risk management program.
Ed has over 40 years of experience as a certified public accountant providing service to all sizes and types of businesses. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Private Equity CFO Association. He has been awarded the designations “Accredited in Business Valuation” (ABV) and “Certified in Financial Forensics” (CFF), by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Ed holds a BS from Temple University.
Christine Burk joined American Land Fund Management in 2009 as a cost analyst responsible for supporting the acquisition and disposition activity and asset management functions.
Christine has over 10 years of project management and controls experience. Prior to joining American Land Fund, Christine was a Project Manager and Master Scheduler for FLSmidth Inc. where she served as the focal point for creating and maintaining engineering and delivery schedules on multiple projects.
Christine received a BS in Civil Engineering and Business Management from Widener University.
