Founded in 2005 by CEO Dr. Peter Linneman, American Land Fund (ALF) is a private real estate equity firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that acquires attractive land assets in the path of development, with a focus on creating value through entitlements and local market knowledge. Our knowledgeable and experienced team manages the properties, obtains entitlements, and markets the land assets to developers and builders for dispositions.
Through our fund management company, American Land Fund Management, LLC, ALF operates as a long-term investor. This long holding strategy and a leverage-free approach give us the flexibility to harvest through cycles while maintaining a disciplined focus on executing our core business plan. We currently own and manage 14 assets, acquired through our two funds—American Land Fund I and American Land Fund II—representing 9,500 acres and includes 17,400 residential lots for sale.
Whether the goal is a white-picket-fences community with small-town charm or a dynamic project focused on convenience and lifestyle amenities. Through its operating partners, ALF works with local communities and other governing authorities regarding environmental concerns, rezoning, annexation, planning, surveying, and obtaining utility services, as well as other processes required to obtain paper or platted lots for a planned development.
